February 6, 2009

John's "numbers" are doing what they are supposed to be doing so he is on the right track. He is mostly fatigued and nauseous, but he took meds for the nausea. Food doesn't appeal to him, so he really has to work at eating. Nourishment is important! He is riding his bike, but claims he would rather be doing the cha cha. I am waiting patiently to be asked for a dance.

  1. What a blessing to know the stem cells are doing their "job" and to know our prayers are working!! I don't have any cha cha music to send you for dancing ..... would some bossa nova work? :-)

Keep those spirits high and those legs wheeling around and around, John. I'm hoping your appetite has returned so you've felt like eating in the past couple of days.

Take care ..... and know you are in many people's thoughts at Sheridan and throughout the Lincoln community.

  2. The Ganz house is sending LOTS of positive energy and good thoughts your way, especially now when you're getting blasted with the chemo and feeling the effects.

You're in such a great hospital with wonderful doctors and nurses - glad to hear they're taking such good care of you!

Every day is one day closer to being home and twirling Tobi around to the Latin beat.

    Lots of Love,
    The Ganzes

  3. I've never posted a comment before so I don't know if it'll even get to you, but, if it does, you get to be the recipient of my very first effort.

So often you and the girls are in my prayers and on my mind. Toby, give him another hug, will ya?

Though I have heard rumors, John. Something about you and the Dr. " playin' the numbers", and you grabbing the nurse, trying to get her to dance to some Latin Beat......maybe a cha cha or some kinda' goofy thing??? I must have misinterpreted the rumors.

I saw the most bizarre thing yesterday! I saw a snail riding on top of a
turtle's back....the snail was yelling; WEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

I add; if there's a "need" you have....you know, or how about a "WANT".
Music? Pat's the guy. Ale? Pat's the guy. Pizza? You got us. A ride somewhere? We can do that. Love and support? You got it!
