Not too much to report today. John doesn't feel the greatest, but he is able to get up and move around. A stationary bike was brought into his room so he could exercise. He tried it out. Yes, they are taking good care of him. They even brought another chair in for me! Really, all we need now is a warm beach and some fresh air to make our stay the very best. Since that is probably not going to happen, we will celebrate the small things. The bike and chair are perfect additions!

We sure hope all of you are well and happy!
Tobi

  1. Maybe we can send a fan over and then you can imagine that you are peddling along in the great outdoors with the wind in your face! Some shades would help the illusion too. Yeah...that's the ticket! Keep up the good work and you'll be home before you know it.

  2. Hey John and Tobi, I am getting a great visual and it sort of sounds like last summer. We certainly need to do that again with all the kids they would love it. We had such a great time in the sun and water. Well we had talked about coming up Sat. but that doesn't sound like a good time for John and some of us have not had the flu shot and I just don't want to take any chance's at this point. So you will have to just read my comments for now. I think about you every day. So keep up the good work John and Tobi you let us know what you and the girls need PLEASE!
    love

  3. Tobi and John:

It sounds like things are going as planned and that is good. I would love to see you both but I don't want to chance bringing any germ/virus/bacteria into that room. I know how important it is to keep John from exposure.

John -- keep biking so that physique of yours stays in tack!

  4. The job of stem cells is to heal us, to rejuvenate us, to repair what damage we may have done. So amazing the new science of repairing ourselves...I read about it in one of Dr. Oz' new books on staying young.
Also the new Time magazine Feb. is focusing on this stem cell thing.
I could hardly believe what i was reading last night at the bookstore!
    HOPE has arrived!!!
Sorry you don't feel too good right now.
